Hello, I am Micaela Avigliano
Senior Frontend and Accessibility Engineer with 6+ years building inclusive, scalable, high-performance web applications. Most of my work lives in design systems and reusable component libraries in JavaScript, HTML, React, Next.js and TypeScript. Every component is built having accessibility in mind prioritizing semantic HTML, keyboard operability, focus management and screen-reader support, built against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 and aligned with the EAA (European Accessibility Act), ADA and Section 508. Lately, I have been using AI assisted tools in my workflow: Claude Code, Gemini and GitHub Copilot, refactor and review code, the Figma MCP to bridge design and implementation, and I author my own skills to encode accessibility rules and component patterns so these assistants apply them consistently. Across my career I have contributed to major platforms in finance, e-commerce, streaming and agriculture, collaborating with global teams across 28+ countries.
